Back in high school (the seventies) I went to a lot of shows but the one that stands out most was seeing Yes.

The show opened with Stravinsky's "Firebird suite" and as the music crested, lights beamed down onto a giant shell at center stage. The shell began to open and you could see Alan White on his drum set while the rest of the group took to the stage to the sound of "Yours is no disgrace". Fantastic stuff!

I saw many shows before and after that, but never equal to the one Yes put on. The combination of visual effects, electric and acoustic music, in addition to the interplay betwen the musicians and the audience was memorable.

What were the shows that stand out most in your memory.

Haven't see many acts, but I remember two: Wakeman with his son (circa 1991), and Queen (1981). Impressive Mise in scene, for that days: moving light towers, fog, and the charismatic Mercury showing all his histrionism. Good sound, but Bohemian Rhapsody chores were singed in the dark, obviously playbacked (Good choice, if you judge what they did on Live -Killers, they kill de poor song ).
Please forgive me for my crappy english!
