It's obvious he deserves to be in the archives.

He's one of electronic music pionners and has been part of several major krautrock bands.

Schulze organ's and strings experimentations at the beginning of his career (in Cyborg and Irrlicht) combines enough progressive elements (the way of using the keyboards...) to be included in the space/ experimental genre...his classic period with Moondawn, Timewind and others are also closed to prog feelings, putting the stress on long epic instrumental soundscapes full of analogic synth...so his music is Kraut, spacey & hypnotic, not very rock but prog, yes it is!!

His Richard Whanfried project can also be added in the archives, next to his side project Far east family band (already added to the archives...thanks!)

Yes, after all we've got Tangerine Dream on here as well. He was a crucial figure on the Krautrock scene, and is still making good music to this day.

Im all for the kosmiche sub genre, or call it krautrock
I dont care! But I do think the germans should be
shown respect and call it what they call it "kosmiche
musik".

Jean-Michel Jarre is very weak and mainstream.

Not cosmic at all!

i prefer tim Blake/crystal machine (1977)

YESssssssss!!!!!!!

If Vangelis, Jarre, Eno, and Olfield must be in , then there is no reason he is not!

I see that people can agree more than for Vangelis.

allright, so now all (heaven and) hell breaks loose, and suddenly all kinds of artists are open to discussion! Well, that's great!! http://www.vintageprog.com/ this website speciallizes in archiving ALL of 70's prog!! So go and take a look there, and then maybe open a topic where we can name all of the bands we miss in progarchives, maybe it will change something!!!

Klaus Schulze made one of the longest running vinyl with Timewind, clocking in at some 58 min+ for both sides !!!

This could be a record (pun intended)!!!

Manuel Gottsching is presented on the site so there should be no reason to omit his buddy.

Moondawn and Body Love are progressive classics
equal to Vangelis Albedo 0.39 and Spiral or JM Jarre
Oxygene and Equinoxe.
