I was in a band called GroundLift... It was really keyboard-songwriting based and had it's own sound to it...  If you go to my website.... www.dopplerband.com , the first song is done by groundlift, the next 2 by a band I was in called Down From Up, and the next two by another band called 1220...

If you wouldn't mind, let me know which ones you like the most, if any... Please limit criticism to constructive, as you would not appreciate your own music being degraded... It's OK if you don't like it, but please no personal comments, just constructive ones.

Thank you!  Also, I just signed up for website service using www.bandvista.com , so let me know if you like my site, or if you see any potential changes to it.

quick feedback....

the groundlift song...  I like it... don't like the guitar sound.. but don't mind me.. . that is a sound I hate about modern rock not distinctive and sounds like a 100 other groups.  However  I like  the way the song itself flowed.

your second song.....  liked the vocal intro...  different.. and I like different as you may pick up. Nothing bores me like hearing the same old, same old.  Again...  the same problem as the first...  the guitars are too prominent in the mix for me.  One of the things that we loved about prog in the day.. think an acoustic guitar would have been better used.  That said.. I enjoyed that .. and like the way you closed the track with the vocals as you started it.

third song...  to beat a dead horse... but again.. it is what is weakest about your music to these ears... is the guitarist.. He isnt bad... he just sounds .. so samey.  Enough said on that. I made my point I guess. Ahh... see.. .the strong suit of the song.. is the guitar and drums middle section.. where he does bring a different sound and atmosphere to that damn crunchy guitar sound people love today

fourth song....  ahhhh... now I dig this....  variety ....  like the vocals and the harmonies there.  Best one I've heard so far. I liked that Clap

fifth song - very punchy.. and a toe tapper...  I like it

hope I wasn't too negative...   wasn't my intent to be... I think your music is good...  the way it is presented can always be improved. Clap
