General idea of this freaky drum&bass project was born during a three hour long jam-session, witch had happened in October 22, 2006. That session showed us just one obvious thing - we are understanding each others music-thinking pretty good, good enough to fell the flow? Created by each other. And so we decided to go on together. We have other projects, but this minimalistic creation appered to us as a possibility to speak freely in a musical tongue. So, it became an unscripted rule – the affiliation to any genre doesn’t really matters.

First rude tradition break were the line-up – just bass and drums, without full-sale attention on a playing technique. Most of our compositions had notable improvisation parts, divers mood changes, and reverences to all musical styles, witch comes to our mind.

Soon enough (in march 2007, to be exact), we prepared our first concert program. It includes five songs, two of witch contain a voices of session female vocalists. The experiment, named “To give a MaXinatoR a voice”… well it failed. Girls do not actually understand (or fell) the music we played – so our debut show were the last, where we showed up in number grater then two.

Life went forth, we’re hit the road visiting one Ukrainian city after another. Well, the fun was all ours – in most of the places we face great public, met new people, get a lot of impressions to go on and on. We do not get much money – may be because we weren’t playing pop-music, right. In august, after winning a regional contest, we were invited to a local fm-radio show. Nobody wants to listen us just talking, so we had to think about our first record. During july we recorded four composition during one live-in studio set. We named it “Radio Active” – the radio show created all our activity about this studio work, so the name is pretty straight, don’t you think.
All the amount of disks we made was sold or just given away to the people in our autumn tour, but the record itself does not show our evolutioning views, so in January 2008 we started more serious work.

Our goal was to use the possibilities studio can give, without losing our face. Hey this possibilities were no as big as we thought, but it was our choice to not hire a professional studio. First priority to us were the time. We do not waned to rush about this record, wishing to try all from different points. We got our experience, and the other got our new record “Angry Rodent Blues”, containing 9 compositions, almost 45 minutes long. In a month we managed to found a label, willing to cooperate. “Quasi Pop” label chief, Edward, offered his help in studio mastering and publishing of the album, but evil fate made its move – job problems break delay our plans until we ourselves found that the idea are not as good as it was.

Now we still playing our concerts, distributing our disks on’em, but we do not actually wanting to spread them wide. We managed to find a studio, witch is good for us not only in a point of quality, but a price also. So, this autumn a promising to be spend in recording… again. Some new sings, witch differs a lot from earlier works, some of old things, the ones we find good enough… A lot of hard, but interesting work. With a prize in shape of your attention in the end.
