So whom is it?? My vote goes to the green lantern. What is is purpose? He just there to take up space on the Justice League.

Not only that...but take away his ring and he is rendered powerless.

I respect your choice to exclude Aquaman. It shows much kindness on your part that you would spare the most inane superhero of all a whole lot of pain and discrimination.

Also, that is true gdub, another reason why he is useless.

Will one of our Columbian members PLEASE find this and scan some pages for me? It's such a tasteless idea that John Waters should direct the film version.

Pope Reborn as Superhero in Comic

BOGOTA, Colombia (Reuters) - Pope John Paul II is being reborn in a Colombian comic book as a superhero battling evil with an anti-Devil cape and special chastity pants.

The first episode of the "Incredible Popeman" is about to go on sale in Colombia and shows the late Polish pontiff meeting comic book legends such as Batman and Superman to learn how to use superpowers to battle Satan.

"The pope was a real-life superhero, of flesh and blood," said Colombian artist Rodolfo Leon, a non-practicing Catholic who has been working on the comic book for about a year.

Like any self-respecting superhero, the Incredible Popeman has a battery of special equipment. Along with his yellow cape and green chastity pants, the muscular super-pontiff wields a faith staff with a cross on top and carries holy water and communion wine.

In the comic book, the pope dies and is reborn with superpowers beyond the infallibility Catholic doctrine gave him on Earth.

Leon said he was saddened by the death Saturday of John Paul II, whom he admired. The artist worried some people might be offended by such a revered figure becoming a comic book hero, but said the reception so far has been good.

Apart from predominantly Catholic Colombia, the book will be sold in Poland and publishers in Mexico, Canada and the United States have expressed interest, Leon said.

He also plans to produce Incredible Popeman action dolls.

"He isn't John Paul II any more," Leon said. "From now on, he's the Incredible Popeman."

it's the 'chastity pants' that really make the idea outstanding.

And here I was, thinking that Stan Lee's animated musical superhero version of Ringo Starr was the height of comicbook oddness.

The Green Hornet, if it wasn't for Kato the guy was absolutely useless, each time he was in trouble you heard a scream KATO!!!!!!!! and the poor Bruce Lee had to help him, hit all the bad guys, open the door of the car, put the hat, drive alone in the front seat and prepare a martini and the food for the Green Hornet when they returned home.

At the end the TV series was a faillure because nobody expected the success of Kato, the sidekick was more important than the main character, in many countries of Asia al the people knew the series as The Kato Show.

I voted other because there are 4 heroes on not on the list that are ultimately pointless. One is Aquaman. All he can do is talk to fish. the other three are Marv, Wendy, and the Wonder Dog.  IF you ever got a chance to see the old Justice League or Super Friends or whatever it was called you'd know who I'm talking about.  Marv,Wendy, and The Wonder Dog were these two kids and a dog that were supposedly "superheroes" but all they ever did was get into trouble and have to wait to be saved.  They also were there to provide some moral to the story.  I nominate these four "heroes" for the most useless superheroes

Quote Er... I will go with Robin. Holy sh*t...

Not so useless Mirco, well at least for the producers of the 60´s TV show.

There was a famous episode where the Green Hornet meets Batman (The producers wanted to help´The Green Hornet due to the low rating in USA compared to the great ratings in Asia), so they couldn't plan something silliest than a fight between Robin and Kato.

There was no winner, it was an honorable tie, but it was even worst, nobody could ever believe the skinny Burt Ward (Robin) could have the slightest chance against Kato (Bruce Lee). Everybody knew Kato would had kicked the Boy Wonder's a$$ through all  Gotham City.

This stupid fight sealed the fate of The Green Hornet, because the Kato fans (Who were more than the Green Hornet's fans) would ever accept something so ridiculous.

Batman: So what ya do?

Superman: You know me!! I took out muy Krypton dick , put on a Zircon rubber and and jumped in

Spiderman: And did you make her yell for it?

Superman: Well her, not exactly!!! However , the Invisible Man......

Dick in the Mouth Man is pretty useless.  Fortunately, he's only been mentioned once or twice and has never been drawn.  Gizz Trough Girl is pretty pointless too.

although, I spend my youth in North America, I always hated those superheroes comics. all these Marvel comics super-powered heroes were all the same.

I did enjoy those Calvin & Hobbes , and especially those Bloom County comics. Some of those strips had rolling on the floor. Berked Breathe was sooooooo funny . Toooooo bad he stopped.

More recently, Seth, Clowes, Brown, and many more are actually brilliant new generation.
