Yeah, I dropped it on the floor in my garage and it got scuffed up. It won't play anymore. Should I even bother to buy a new copy of it? I need some advice. There are some good tracks on this record, but I don't know if I should re-invest in it.

Yeah, very true. I don't know one person who likes Presto. At the music shop in my town, there are like eleven or twelve used copies of Presto in the Rush section. Pretty sad.

Yeah I got mine used too. It's very telling that it was the absolute last Rush album I got (to complete my collection) besides the ones that came after 1995 or so. I like The Pass, Superconductor, Show Don't Tell & the "Sun Dog" song (I can never remember the name). Everything else is pretty much crap IMO.

Sam, you are such a liar. You got mad at mom and threw your cd player on the ground during your little hissy fit and it broke. Don't lie! Yes that is right, Crimson prince is Christ's bother! Ha!

I think the answer was obvious when I posted it... already did it.

I like Presto!!  Fine album, if am little lacking in good production.

Anyway, I suggest you immediately go and buy a new copy of Show of hands. Any damaged Rush album should be replaced as a matter of urgency.

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

CRIMSON,

You might be better advised to buy All The World's A Stage (you can hear me partying in the public) or Exit Stage Left (I was also in the crowd) . Much better live Rush.

The rest of you fools:

If you are to recommend a GG album, you might want to recommend In A Glass House. Free Hand is not amongst my faves and Three Friends is non-representative.

I'm not jealous at all..

ESL was recorded during the whole world tour. I think that closer to The Heart was recorded in Glasgow and we Torontonians could not believe Glaswegians would sing out the first verse. Chills & shivers  down the spine. So having merits for being in the crowd is limited.

ATWIAStage, however,  was recorded over three night at the Old Massey Hall (what a fantastic place for concerts) and this was among my very first concert.

See ya Tuesdays , Boys . I'm off to the R A H

I actually found it on vinyl for $2... and yeah, its not that great... but holy god I LOVE the first track, Show Don't Tell. The bass line for that is INCREDIBLE! I urge any bassist here to check it out. Its gets a little sticky in the instrumental section, but overall its not too difficult to play and very fun.
