And if his story is true, I don't think I can blame him. If not, I'll be giving away all my Boston albums... Confused

Boston Is A Mess

by Paul Cashmere - January 16 2008

Boston's Tom Scholz has entered into an ugly legal battle with Micki Delp, the ex-wife of singer Boston singer Brad Delp who committed suicide last year.

The Boston Globe reports that Scholz is suing the former Mrs Delp, as well as her sister Connie Goudreau, wife of guitarist Barry Goudreau for defamation.

He claims the pair publicly stated that Brad Delp killed himself because of Scholz.

Delp died in March 9, 2007 at his home in Atkinson, New Hampshire He was found with a suicide note pinned to his shirt. His death was listed as carbon monoxide poisoning.

The news shocked fans and friends alike. Delp was engaged to be married later in the year. On August 19, Scholz and Goudreau performed a tribute concert for their singer, the day after he was due to marry.

I seem to remember insinuations like this were made at the time of Delp's untimely demise.

It's a shame, because he and Scholz made great music together.
