Both are great and entirely different. I'm going to wait on voting for this one too.

Dream Theater for me. Not a big fan of the Electronic genre.

It's all one big tournament (I just sometimes don't have enough room to put poll #7 so I just put #7) that I've made with some friends of mine (very similar to a March Madness type bracket). Refer to my first poll (Yes v. Supertramp) and I show the first round matchups. |

What, no Flame Dream, Virtual Dream, Dream Aria, Distant Dream, Dreams
of Sanity, Dreamworld, Dreamscape, Dreamland (all bands in the
P. Archives). Not even "I Dream of Jeannie"?
Seriously though, of these, Tangerine Dream, though I'd kind of be interested in hearing something of DREAMWORLD. |

Because Tangerine Dream are really awesome too, and it all depends on taste for some (since the two are very different). I finally ended up voting and gave the very slight edge to DT. Two very good bands though, IMO. |

Tdream has not only defined a musical genre but doing it for over 35 years. From the early years in 69-70 , pretty much up to the mid-eighties , the quality is exceptional (Phaedra, Rubycon, Ricochet, Stratosfear, Force Majeure, Cyclone, Exit, Tangram, White Eagle, Pergamon, Encore, Poland.....) . I hown 37 albums from this amazing german group.
DT on the other hand , I own NO release and frankly, c'est pas mon style!
