There are songs that have a "building up" feeling; they grow and grow and if you donīt press the "skip" button fast, you will have to listen to them completely, although you probably didnīt want to do so in the first place.... You guys understand what i mean? i hope...

I can think right now in:

the carpet crawlers - genesis
blood of eden - peter gabriel
fascination street - the cure
mama - genesis
i grieve - peter gabriel (UP version)
seasons end - marillion
out of this world - marillion

I assume you mean this in a good way? If so, I know exactly what you mean. I will say this once: "A PLAGUE OF LIGHTHOUSE KEEPERS." If I end up hearing the second stroke of the keyboard (what kind of keyboard, I'm not sure) during the intro, then "I am doomed."

I think we can all agree that Ash ra tempel does a good job of peaking our interests with this effect.
