Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Yes, (I presume he replaced Aynsley Dunbar in Journey). First recording however, was Jean Luc Pony's Enigmatic Ocean. Last 15 years of so Smith has concentrated back on jazz and jazz fusion, e.g. Vital Information, Vital Tech Tones, and often the drummer found with a heap of jazz rock artists on the Tone Center Records label, e.g. 3 (more?) albums with Stu Hamm and Frank Gambale, a back-in-form album by Larry Coryell (and Tom Coster), etc. |
