The Sep 14th gig will be the first with flautist Junior Pacora in the Flor de Loto line-up, hence replacing the recently estranged Johnny Pérez. This will leave the filmed TV appearance that will air on Wednesday, Sp 12th, as the last Johnny Pérez performance as a Flor de Loto member.

These are good reasons to regard both the TV show and the forthcoming concert as important musical events.

   Kind regards.

what a shame that they had estranged such a good futist as Jhonny. He was like the soul of the band and it's not gonna be the same without himCry

the new flutist is very good he learned the songs for the concert in only a few days, but he didn't have the charisma of Jhonny.

Actually, the new one has a more polished technique on flute, but still has got to learn more about the secrets of zampoña. He's young and talented, and as a member of FDL, he will have time to get acquainted with this specific instrument. And yes, he's not as charismatic, he doesn't have tha tspecial stage presence. FDL will have to reorganize their stage image in order to go through this new era in a very resolved way. The band has my blessings, and so does Junior.

    Kind regards.
