Marillion are playing a short tour at the end of this year and the start of next, punningly titled 'Snowhere Else'. Here are the provisional dates- no venues announced as yet...
 
 
We are almost ready to start selling tickets for the Xmas Tour 2007. You will see that we are only playing in the UK, Holland, Germany and France.
You're probably feeling "left out" and wondering why?.. Well, it's certainly not personal. If we're not coming to your continent/country/town/city it's because we've had to reluctantly make some tough decisions about where, and where not, to play because we are short on time. It's our intention to write and record some new songs so that we can make our Spring deadline for the release of album number 15. We fear that if we book a long tour at the end of 2007 we'll not be ready, so the Christmas tour has to be restricted to a 2 week period.
We're truly sorry and as ever if we could visit you all individually you know we would!

Hopefully the new album will be an improvement on the current one, which should not be too hard.

I have followed Marillion for over 20 years and the the latest tour has been enjoyable but the album was such a disappointment.

Yeah, I have to agree with you muffley mirkin: this tour was great but the new album (whether live or on disc) is mediocre compared with their earlier stuff.

I get the impression it won't be, because album 15 was planned to be released soon after Somewhere Else, making me feel a lot of the tracks on 15 will be leftovers from SE. Unless it's something like The Universal Migrator by Ayreon (one metal cd, one space-rock cd), I expect just about the same.

If only thy left off "The Last Century For Man", then it could be one of my favorites. "The Other Half", "Somewhere Else", and "A Voice From The Past" are instant classics for me.

^Those are the best songs by far for me too. The others I could take or leave, frankly, but those three songs are bona fide Marillion classics.

Come on, boys. We want a Latin-American Marillion Tour.
 
You came to Buenos Aires 3 or 4 times. It was great.
A lot of people saw that shows.
 
But It was a long, long time ago...
 
You have loyal fans here and all along South & Central America.
 
There are a lot of bands playing here these years (prog or not): The Police, -maybe- Genesis, Roger Waters, Jethro, Placebo, Asia, Ray Wilson, Focus, Caamora, Cast, Anatehema, The Rolling Stones, U2, Nightwish, etc...

The second tier songs are good, too. I really like "See It Like A Baby", "The Wound", and even "Thank You, Whoever You Are" is growing on me. It's that friggin' "Last Century For Man", however. I simply can't get into it.

Strangely enough, "Most Toys" really took some leaps forward for me. I was lukewarm towards it at first, but I love the energy.

Maybe, but public transports so damned inconvinient that I cant go without shelling out money that I dont have to stay at B&B or something....

And as far as that goes it might as well be on another continent, Stonie, E-dub, I'm still not going to be able to see it.
