Awesome new Norwegian band. They are everything from Mastodon, Meshuggah to Isis and Tool. Their new album is called Monument Bineothan.
I'm not going to write how prog they are or whatever, but since Isis, Mastodon and some other similar bands are here on ProgArchives, I feel this band should be, too, by association. They might not be uber-DreamTheater-SymphonyX-progressive, but they definitely stand out and write some challenging stuff. And isn't a band that's Tool, Mastodon, Meshuggah and Isis just so freakin cool?! :)
Anyways, here's some info: http://www.beneareach.com/ - official website, nothing much, really.
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=41366326 - the all-penetrating MySpace. They've got a MySpace page, too.

http://www.heathenharvest.com/article.php?story=20070310044657128 - review of the album.
http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=72293 - "fellow" site's (MetalArchive's) page about them. Notice the genre thingy.
Again, I'm not trying to say they are the best prog band in the world. All I'm saying is that since Mastodon and the like are here (who are not necessarily prog, but IMO do deserve to be here), these lads should be, too.
Cheers!

Although I personally am not a huge fan of the hardcore screaming, these guys do have some interesting ideas, and think they would fit in pretty well here. They're definetily more complicated then some of the current Prog Metal bands we have here, though it's nothing over the top. I like 'em.
