That's getting close to Terry Bozzio proportions...
Does Peart really need all of that stuff? |

The drums to the rear are Electronic, also three at the front, so overall the acoustic kit isnt THAT big... Edited by Tony R - May 29 2007 at 13:30 |

That's a bad graphical representation of the colors, I believe they're only showing the set-up here, not color, if you read the description it says: "All maple (Aztec Red Lacquer) specialty kit with Gold Leaf Snakes & Arrows graphic and black nickel hardware." |

Correct! There were some pictures on a weblog somewhere about two months ago, it's brilliant red with Snakes & Arrows in the appropriate places. Think they may even be on Neil's own site, but I don't have time to check right now. |

Beatiful kit, well, all of his kits are amazing really.
It's a shame that none of the songs from Snakes & Arrows demand more than a regular kit though. Maybe Monkey Business..... If we are lucky, they will play songs from all eras, and I'd love to see Neil going crazy on that kit with some Vapor Trails stuff. |

Obviously they do - that is if you are Neil Peart and can play them all with great proficiency. |

If you watch the RUSH IN RIO and R30 dvd's, Neil's drum kit is exactly the
same. He has a single kick drum, four concert drums, two floor toms, one gong
drum, a KAT percussion synthesizer on his left and an electronic kit behind him.
His shell skins will be different, but it's pretty much the sane drumset.

I sure do miss that old kit of his (His Tama kit from around Permanent Waves through Signals). This one is still pretty cool, though.
Also, for those who wonder if he needs/uses all of that stuff, this isn't Alex Van Halen here. Peart utilizes his entire kit. Always has. E |

Well, Bozzio's kit is so big I can see it from here, and it does seem he needs it to play that wonderful stuff he usually plays... |

If anyone has ever seen Neil Peart playing live, you would see that he uses every bit of it. I miss the big gong that he used to have. |
