I was really looking forward to seeing Pirates, and maybe Taste Of My Love Ouch

My guess?

A lot of people showed up at the first show and were like "Play Heat Of The Mo-----HEY!  You're not John Wetton!  Unhappy"

I`ve got a live CD from him from the `90s which has since been deleted and it really smokes. Better than anything Wetton has ever done since Crimson. I saw Carl Palmer last year and it kind of sucked but from that CD alone I definitely would go and see Lake solo. Maybe check his web-site?

It was some kind of unspecified trouble with the promoters I believe.

Wasn't there a PA thread on this subject?  Too lazy to go digging for it.  Smile

Edit:  Overcame the laziness, here it is:

As much as I love Greg Lake, his solo career is not on the same level as John Wetton's.

Because God hates us? That would have been so awesome. Except that he looks evil in the pitchur there.
