We are delighted to announce that It Bites have been selected as the second headliner for the Summers End Festival at the Robin, Bilston on 15th and 16th September The band were formed in the early 80s, and are best known in the UK for the 1986 hit single “Calling All the Heroes” from their debut album “Big Lad in the Windmill”. Two further studio albums and a live album followed, cleverly mixing pop with prog and hard rock, before the band called it a day in 1990. They reformed in 2006 to a rapturous reception, with guitarist / vocalist John Mitchell (Arena / Kino) replacing founder member Francis Dunnery. We are pleased to welcome the band as our Sunday night headliner, after a superb acoustic set from keyboard player John Beck and John Mitchell at the festival in 2006.
