from 1977 on? well, of couse "Xitintoday" by Nik Turner's Sphynx, "Fairy Tales" by Mother Gong and "The Fall of the House of Usher (1999 version)" by Peter Hammill. that's 3. "Real Time" by VdGG, which will be out in 2 weeks, but which I have heard already, both at the concert and in recorded version. the last one... umm.... let me think... perhaps Hawkwind "Love in Space". excellent live document of them. yes, I think I'll stick with those for the moment. as usual, I may come up with something else on another day

If you mean 'just 1977,' then:
1. Tull, SFTW
2. Yes, GFTO
3. UK, UK (look at album jacket - started recording in December 1977...)
4. ELP, Works 1
Just can't put Kansas, Point of Know Return as No. 5 because it pales in comparison to any of their previous four albums to that point...
