Tom... I hate mouses and rats (unless they're pets)... and I'm always tired of seeing Jerry getting away with everything while poor Tom always gets punished

Hate em. That cartoon (like a lot of stupid ones) abused the classical music. And the major problem is being exposed to such situations thousands of times in childhood. So when i hear a pizzicato-melody going up, unfortunately a Tom (or may be Sylvester) that is going up on the stairs comes to my mind-for instance.

I don't like cats... But I hate rodents (mice and rats (DeadDeadDead) in particular) AngryAngry
 
Moreover, Tom is much cooler than Jerry as a(n animated) person...

well I like it better that way... Pink Panther also abused jazz but it's one of the main reasons I like it (apart from the way he walks )... cartoons nowadays will never be the same I remember watching a Pink Panther video on Youtube and they replaced the jazzy soundtrack with some sort of punk music ... it just takes the charm right out
