This for either art rock or prog related. This is a newer group of young guys. They play in the same vein as Coheed and Cambria, as in a modern alt. rock type sound that may appeal to more simple-minded music fans, and their vocalist too has a higher register voice. Their albums are very cohesive though I don't think either of them are conceptual. The yhave a modern sound that still harkens back to the classics. Their debut is filled with odd times and the like, with some clear progressive moments (i.e. "Metropol") while still having a handful of more basic songs that are still well written and enjoyable. Their latest album lays off the complexities and focuses more on atmosphere and melody (even more than the last one). It has a bit more expanded variety of sounds, and is very tight. I think they suite the progressive term, and in my mind they are, but I fear that they are in the same boat as Coheed and Mew where their state will be in limbo with the team for whatever reasons. Still they should be heard.
www.ahostage.com has the entire first album up for stream, though in a rather low quality sound

Brazil is an amazing new band. Their cd "the Philosophy of Velocity" is a must have! The lead singer is a huge fan of Jon Anderson and his influence show up in their music.
And by the way they should not be put in the same sentence as Coheed and Cambria because their lead singer sounds like a "delapitated chipmunk".
