    Neil Peart has updated the News Section on his website and has exciting news about the new album.

With regard to the timing of the new release he gives this indication:

"looks as though the recording will be finished by the end of the year—far ahead of schedule. We are planning on doing the final mixing early in the New Year, but have made no commitments beyond that."

Looks like a March release date maybe...
