Topic: Marillion's the best band ever (undeniabl Posted: December 05 2006 at 22:34 |
No hate. Just love.
Somewhere Else will be the best album of 2007.
Breaking News!
Associated Press (Baghdad, Iraq) - President Bush plays a promo copy of Somewhere Else for the leaders of the Shiite and Sunni ethnic groups in Iraq. All sectarian violence has ceased. The Iraqi goverment now plans to write their constitution based on the lyrics from the album.
Associated Press (Tehran, Iran) - Preliminary reports show that Iranian President Mahmoud Amenijahd has agreed to halt the country's development of nuclear technology because he feels it might cause the members of Marillion too much stress to have to worry about a possible conflict with the nation, which may in turn cause them to delay their tour in support of the best album ever, Somewhere Else.
Another absolutely true fact:
Marillion's music cures smallpox (ever wonder why it's not around anymore? Well now you know).

No, they are great... but Marillion couldn't ever stop the war.... not with Hogarth's fear of surpasing -40 decibels of volume.... do you think shiites or chiites would hear his whispering? Please....
Bring back Fish and maybe he'll be heard... cut the pop and they'll be heard... do some prog and they'll be heard.... or just do another BRAVE...now THAT was a masterpiece and MArillion's best....

This must mean that Fish has rejoined the group.

This would be a mistake.
Marillion with Fish = Perfection
Marillion with Hogarth = Perfection
Fish solo = Perfection
Therefore, more perfection if Marillion with Hogarth and Fish solo are seperated (out) and left to conquer the world twice as fast.

Which brings us to the idea of Marilion splitting up, and each member pursuing solo carreer's that might quadrupple their effect on global peacification.

A recent poll in Iraque revealed John Martyr to be considered the best drummer of Marillion ever.
his short carreer with the band only proven his effectiveness.

Marillion for the Nobel Peace Price ! This would be the greatest achievement ever from any rock/pop band - it dwarfs Live Aid and such "meaningless" effords. Finally world peace will be achieved! Now only the relation between Israel and the Palestinians has to undergo "The Marillion" cure.

Hey where the hell are you leaving drum-master Mick Pointer?
They didn't fire him because of incompetence... what happened is that they didn't UNDERSTAND him... he does a lot by doing nothing... he is the best by appearing to be the worst... he carries a groove with no fills nor thrills....
And he has a peaceful face... so he would be perfect for Marillion's push for the dinner with Bono, Angelina and the Banker in India....

Don't forget The Edge.
His guitar licks are very subtle indeed, so subtle, you can barely hear them over Bono's caterwauling.

What about the idea of Marillion spitting up-- sounds much more interesting, no?

Justin Timberlake to replace Phil Collins in up-coming GENESIS reunion tour!!!
"Well, he's much better drummer. And he sings better. And also he wishes to play some our classics" - says Rutherford
Steve Hackett is so interested, that he wants to join them in some English shows to play "Firth of Fifth" and "Supper's Ready".There will be new masks improved by Justin - "a nasty boy" and "a king of pop-music"(Michael Jackson's REAL face...a scary one...)
oops...wrong thread?

Dudes, I've never heard Marillion despite a couple of songs, which sounded a lot like Genesis, like a copy ...
