Here's a band I've just discovered. They were tagged with the NWOBHM genre, but in fact, imo they have more in common with bands like Uriah Heep, Magnum or maybe even Queen, Styx or Kansas. A very pomp encrusted sound. The singer's vocal is very akin to Steve Walsh, with some David Byron esque falsetto.
Lots of grand epics, in fact their latest album 'Vox In Excelsio' was a full blown concept album. I don't own that one, but I think they are well worth a listen. I own a double pack of 'Red Sky' and 'Heroes Saints and Fools'.
I think they are worthy of a place on the site, though under 'prog related'. Such a band fit like a glove, imo.
In fact, their My Space page has some links to excerpts of tracks and they make their prog influences clear on the site.
