I know this poll has probably been posted here like 100 times but I'm new here and I wanted to see what you guys think. Which albums belong in the "dirty dozen" of prog rock.Plus this poll is always fun. In no particular order:

Bridge Across Forever - TRANSATLANTIC
V: The New mythology Suite - SYMPHONY X

I have a better question: how many albums should we listen to in order to have the competence to do such a poll? If I've only listened to fifty albums in my whole life then I don't think I'm entitled to make a "top ten of all time". I realise that posting such things on a forum can make you feel somewhat important, but really... There is so much music out there... Let's just listen to it first. I've heard about 1,500 albums so far (out of which probably one thousand I know fairly well), and there is A LOT more to discover. I believe making polls only makes sense after a while of serious listening; otherwise we can't claim the authority to do it.

12) Argent - Nexus

Close but no cigar:
