Here is my problem.  If you know the song Killer by the Van Der Graaf Generator, you know it's talking about how the shark kills all its friends and gets lonely.
 
Well, I am writing what might someday be a concept album (if I'm lucky...) that characterizes the members of today's political scene as various types of fish as such:
 
apathetic youth who don't vote: flounders
those who only follow party lines: anchovies
optimists: whales
war-mongers: dolphins (yes it does work, trust me)
 
Top Feeders who use others as their stepping stones: SHARKS
those who lift themselves up in the shadows of the sharks: feeder-fish
 
 
Concept-wise, SHARKS is very similar to Killer, though the words are, of course, my own.  I would rather keep the lyrics, as, without them, feeder fish doesn't work.  What I want to know, though, is whether you think this is plagiarism, or at least really unoriginal.  Becuase if you do, I'll reconsider my stance.

Seems to be that the only similarity is sharks so you're more likely to be ripping off "A Sharks Tale".LOL

The animals/poitics analogy/metaphor thingee is not that original. A kind of marine Animal Farm..?

I'm not criticising it though. Sounds good to me.

Yeah, I know that's not very original... There is this album called Animals...  And others as well...
