Topic: ProgMetalFest with Riverside, Hardenberg Posted: August 29 2006 at 21:27 |
At 15 September there's a concert in Hardenberg, the Netherlands (very close to the German border, near Nordhorn) with as line-up
1. The Aurora Project (Netherlands)
2. Vanden Plas (Germany)
3. Riverside (Poland)
(sorry this is in Dutch)
I tried to find it here, but it seems nobody posted it upto now.
I'm going there, I live in Enschede (NL). If anybody wants to come with me by car (I can take 3 more) please PM me.

^ Well, actually I don't know the other bands, but I saw Vanden Plas is also in the archives, so mayby that's not that bad. But ofcourse I go for Riverside. To see one of my favorite bands live and not far away from me, that's a HUGE bonus.

I heard a Vanden Plas cd, it's an OK prog-metal band; but there's no comparison with Riverside, they play in other level. Anyway, it seems to be an interesting event, but too far for me (I'm from Spain).

@DarioIndjic:
Yes it looks like that, the better for us . This is the first time I'm going to see them live though!
Update: Vanden Plas is very good: I've got Christ 0 now and there are some killer songs on that album, especially "January Sun" which is extremely beautifull: I hope they can play that live!
