Topic: Guess the tour Posted: August 14 2006 at 12:10 |
Who's touring where, and when? Who are X and Y?
"Maoists protesting for free admittance to the first show and crashing through a glass wall; X and Y getting drunk at an expensive dinner, throwing open wine bottles through the air and insulting the promoter's homosexual partner; concert ticket collectors stuffing their own pockets with cash receipts; backstage machine-gun-toting security police; a stoned hippie who in full view of the audience was beat bloody by the promoter's gun-carrying right-hand man for wandering onstage; and a desperate attempt at an encore almost scotched because members of the audience had pulled out the power cables."
Those who know, wait for others to guess.

Guns'n'Roses? Axl is probably the only human being on Earth able to generate such things by his mere presence... In fact, let's call him A$$hole Rose...

Lennon never was on tour as soloist! But I read an interview done with Tony Levin. He said that Lennon was planning a tour for 1981 to promote the "Double Fantasy" album with Yoko. Of course, it never happened. Levin said that he was going to tour with them.
