Although SFA is a classic I think Atman is slightly more interesting.

I like Lamplight Symphony also very much, Lamplight Symphony has such beauty about it and the instrumental part is Kansas at their best ! Song For America is the best musical composition on the album ! but Hymn to The Atman is more philosophical, mystical, experimental & fascinating ... plus it features a cool drum solo ! .. I can`t decide which one to vote for and since Lamplight Symphony wasn`t mentioned I don`t think I will vote. Great (and very underrated) prog Album !

I had to go with SFA. There is nothing else like it anywhere. Incomudru-HTTA (I love both Kansas and P-K's version of it) is great also as is Lamplight. I love this whole album! The one that really grabbed me back when I was a young man in 1975 and still today pull this one out over any other Kansas CD.

Again I find myself with the minority. For me Incumudro wins easily and I also prefer Lamplight symphony over SFA.

Song for America is just prog perfection. Catchy, interesting, uplifting. Kansas' best song. And that's saying a lot.
