Here are two great bands that in early 80s, made pop-influenced albums. Fans of both bands found hard at the time to "swallow" these albums. Anyway, which is the one you like more, considering both albums have some pretty good song-writing.

Argh, this one is really though. Because if I would have to listen to
the two repeatedely to choose and this would be the hardest thing I´d
ever have done

Queen recently admitted "Hot Space" was something of a wrong turn, they thought that following the popularity of such tracks as "Dragon Attack" and "Another One Bites the Dust" on "The Game" LP they thought they'd devote a whole side to funk/disco style music, but ended up alienating a lot of fans in the process!!

How can you judge an album as bad when you haven't listened to it?

LOL I'l explain myself. What I meant to say is only that I really like that Queen album a lot But I appreciate Genesis as well. The result is that I just posted, but DIDN'T actually vote

Abacab by a mile . Why? because it has two class songs in the title track & Dodo. Hot Space only has one listenable song which is Under Pressure.

ABABCAB by a mile. not such a bad album really. but, given most people's views here, it's a matter of comparing sh*t to cr*p, so to speak.

Abacab, although it is a bit like asking a Rabbi whether they'd prefer bacon or gammon...

What have I done? This thread has gathered so much negativity; I never thought people could express themselves with such vehemence over this topic.
Sorry . My mistake. My crazy but logical idea.

I'll bring up some "positive" stuff ;)
I think Hot space is a very good album. In fact I listen a lot to it. Most of all I appreciate John Deacon's bass which is very present in all songs. I think Under Pressure is the only song of the album which at this point I don't like (propbably overlistened) while cool cat, put out the fire and staying power are my favourite. The song that always makes me laugh would be body language ^__^
