Yep -- minus 38 C here this morning too, Greenie. (-37 yesterday. Keep that woodstove a-blazin!) ![Ouch](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley18.gif)
Oh well -- at least we don't live in a war zone, right? ![Smile](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif)

Actually, i see on the meteo site that the lowest value recorded, no wind factor, was -42°C!!! That is, -44°F!!
if it was a war zone, i'm not sure the weapons would function properly!!![LOL](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif)
gdub, at 12°F (-11°C), we feel comfortable!

It was 11F here this morning when I went to work, but because of the wind tunnel effect in NYC.. the chill factor was -13F. My fat little cheeks burned all the way to the subway. I'm not a happy camper in this kind of weather... I wouldn't want to be where you guys are for nothing...
Well maybe snowed in with Greg.... but nothing else...![](smileys/smiley36.gif)

I love living in Victoria. I think we're the only place in all of Canada that doesn't have snow right now.

I aways have to go barefooted to work at minus1 Kelvin and your all baking in the sun I envy you guys.
No seriously.
I wear slippers, I'm not barefooted, that would be crazy.

I know exactly what you mean - I had a bit of a frost on my car this morning; I had to scrape it a bit!

Laugh all you want; I'm chilly enough here in the Mojave Desert. The days are still nice- we keep the windows open here until the sun goes down, when we have a 20-30 degree drop in an hour or two. As a guy who grew up with lake effect snow and gruesome wind-chill factors, I think it's safe to say that my blood has thinned a bit in the last decade.
It's not hard to tell where people are from when you're on the Vegas Strip...the ones in t-shirts and shorts are from out of town, and the locals are all wearing layers. ![](smileys/smiley36.gif)

I'm serious - it's still a bit chilly here! Damned Canadians, always complaining about a bit of frost - they should live in Stevenage, it once dropped down to -5 degrees, now THAT's cold.....

Useless fact of the day:
greenback could have just said "-40 degrees" (minus 40 degrees Celsius is the same as minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit).

It actually snowed here yesterday. We only get about 2-3 days snow here a YEAR!
It barely stops raining though!

Temp. this morning has skyrocketed to a positively searing -18 C!
Whoo-hoo! Break out the Bermuda shorts -- or at least the 100-proof Bermuda rum!

It was snowing this morning in Paris. I was in the suburbs and for 10 minutes it was really nice. You come out of the subway and all these white flakes (nearly white up here) falling down. It's a pitty that snow is so cold! and why does it have to be every year the same color. What about PROG SNOW? with a nice rhythm pattern!
