Just discovered that the brothers Freeman of Ultima Thule, have posted a "light electronic" version of their book Crack In The Cosmic Egg at http://www.ultimathulerecords.com/ some claim the print on paper version, to be the essential guide to Kraut rock. If you disagree with anything, e.mail Alan Freeman directly at Ultima Thule, he likes arguments!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been shown some pages of the fully illustrated electronic version, as a work-in-progress project when visiting their Leicester shop in September, - impressive. Edited by Dick Heath |

Impressive at first glance indeed (the on-line version I mean), looks quite comprehensive for an incomplete work. Will the illustrated electronic version also be displayed at the same site? I'm not really into krautrock, but it's something I'm planning to explore sometimes in the near future, and a guiding "manual" will come in handy. Cheers Dick |
