I'm hoping this might clear up some of the questions associated with my other post on Tales.

I most certainly do. Had it first on vinyl, then CD (poor quality), now have the Rhino re-master which is great quality though the bonus tracks are nothing special.

Yes, I have the double CD remaster, although it's a tad annoying how they split the tracks up: on disk 1 is the first three tracks, on disk 2 the fourth and the two bonuses.

The studio run throughs are just that. I really don't care to hear the practice sessions, but the sound quality of this remaster is the best yet. That was always a complaint I had with the original vinyl and later CD release. The sound seemed muted and lifeless. Whatever they did to free up the sound on the Rhino release sure benefits these recordings. Clap

hahaha agreed that's why I keep a playing edition of it.. I took sides 1, 3, and 4 and put those on the same disk. The remembering is almost enough for me to consider giving an album that I absolutely love and think is one of the pinacles of the genre 4 stars instead of 5.  It drags a bit  and doen't hit me  like the other 3 do.

yes
One likes to believe
In the freedom of music
But glittering prizes
And endless Compromises
Shatter the illusion
Of integrity

I have on CD 1, the first 2 tracks (like side 1 of the vinyl), and on CD 2 the other 2 tracks (like side 2 of the vinyl).
