It's like American Idol, except it's on the internet and you don't have to listen to Ryan Seacrest ;-)Well I can't decide what to get, so you guys can help me. I will get 3 of the following albums based on your votes.

Foxtrot (self-explanatory)
H to He, Who Am the Only One (because I liked sections of the Godbluff DVD despite the poor sound quality)
Birds of Fire (because Zappa has interested me Jazz-Rock)
The Sky Moves Sideways (because I like In Abstentia and early Floyd)
Drama (because I like Howe, Squire, and White & Relayer)

If you really want you can also suggest something else in addition to voting if you think that I would like it.

I just upgraded my copy of "H To He".

It's phenomenal.  Get it.

Well so far the tally is Foxtrot--H to He--Birds of Fire--The Sky--Drama.

Drama has gone up to $10, so I'm afraid that's out. I'm a little wary of getting Birds since I've never heard them before (and it may be too fast for me). Maybe I should go listen to In Abstentia again and decide how much I really like PT. But holy crap are the 30 sec samples on Amazon good; I like them way more than anything I've heard from MO.

Of course, I could just get all 4, but I'm not sure I want to spend $50 on music right now.

I haven't heard the other two, but these are definitely worth getting, especially Foxtrot.

As He to He is the only one I own and it's a cracker of an album and one of my favourites, I recommend that.

But I do have The Inner Mounting Flame (Mahavishnu Orchestra) and that's also great, so I suggest that as well.

Foxtrot is IMO Genesys best album so I recomend it to any prog lover.
H to He is one of VDGG best together with Pawn hearts and Still life and if you know VDGG (and like them) this is a must have.
I do'nt know the other three (though I have some Yes albums and heared some Mahavishnu) so I ca'nt recommend these.

Other's to be concidered IMO - King crimson, Robert Wyatt, Renaissance, ELP and Jethro Tull. All of them esential to prog IMO.
