I'll go with The Masquerade Overture, with The World and The Window of Life closely behind.

The World, followed by The Masquerade Overture and Not Of This World (the last is really underrated).

very hard choice this one. I have gone for Not Of This World, as I love that album, but The Window Of Life and Masquerade Overture run it very close!

Are you in the pursuit of excellence? ![Wink](smileys/smiley2.gif) I vote for the same album (despite that cheesy, cheesy, track I just mentioned above).

I haven't heard Believe or Kowotw yet, but this band is still doing little for me. I always find traces of other groups and all sort of influences packed together. I also find the songs in each album very similar from each other and repetitive in formula. But I do enjoy Masquerade Overture and The Jewel, and a couple in The World, that would be my pendragon top 3, giving 4 stars to the first one and 3 to the other 2.

"They say" that The Masquerade Overture is but I don`t agree .. for me its The World . The World was my introduction into Pendragon and I love many of the songs on it, such a great neo prog CD one of the best

I find it SO hard to pick on these things, I voteed for BELIEVE in the end, but that was probably because it had no votes yet, and it deserves better than that!!!
I Love KowTow, The Jewel, WOL, NOTW, oh, it really is difficult, but I stand by BELIEVE.........that album is staggeringly good in my opinion!
I don't understand why Xenoxen even bothers opening up this poll???

Window of Life.
The first Pendragon album I owned and still my favourite. Masquerade Overture comes in second.

Of those I've heard the order would be something like this:
1. The Jewel
2. Not of this World
3. The World
4. The Window of Life
5. The Masqurade Overture
6. Believe
7. Kowtow
8. Fly High Fall Far
I love them all thouh, so voting was really difficult. In the end I
voted for The Jewel (Not of this World had one more vote than it).

Fudge is out! wow! Best of luck to him. First IQ lost their drummer and now Pendragon. What other Neo band will loose their drummer next.

Really I'm not a fan of Neo Prog, but Fish Marillion plus Pendragon and Magenta are IMO the best his sub-genre can offer.
I would go with Masquerade Overture, if you can get the DVD (Live at Last and More) from this album tour, get it, it's very good also.
