So, as you possibly know Yes' Fragile consist of 4 group pieces and five solo ones. Each of the members contributed his own. Which of them do you like best then?

I like Andersons and Squires pieces best, both for great melody. But as I'm a great bass fan my vote goes to Squires Fish.

Have fun

Anderson's 'We Have Heaven' is angelic, First couple of times I played the album that track had me close to tears!!  I'm not kidding.

'The Fish' is extraordinary, Crazy atmosphere. 'Mood For a Day' is very reflective and dreamy, I love them both.

Hard to decide

As of this posting "Mood for a Day" had zero votes so I voted for that.  It was a toss-up between that and "The Fish".

I don'r really like that solo efforts. That's the reason why I prefer "The Yes Album" to  Fragile, even if this one includes four outstanding tracks (the catchy Roundabout, the energic South Side Of The Sky, the beautiful Lond Distance Runaround and the absolutely awesome Heart of The Sunrise). The solo bits simply aren't necessary in this album.  I voted for Howe, but actually "Mood for a day" is not that great.

I love Mood for a Day but Squire's Fish...is something special. The version on Yessongs is even better...IMHO

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

Squire's The Fish.  A bass solo that's melodic and structured.  Who'da thunk it?

It's only my opinion. Maybe I'm too demanding with Yes. They are my favourite band.

THE FISH by far,

but I kind of like that Schindleria Praematurus song also

Kryten : "'Pub'? Ah yes, A meeting place where humans attempt to achieve advanced states of mental incompetence by the repeated consumption of fermented vegetable drinks."

I prefer The Clap or even Masquerade (from "Union" album) instead. Sorry.

I like Bruford's "Five Percent For Nothing" very much, but i voted for Rick Wakeman's "Cans And Brahms" because nobody voted for it.

Squire is my favourite individual member of Yes and The Fish is great. However, Mood for a Day is my favourite of the bunch and gets my vote.

You, my friend, should check out some Victor Wooten.

I picked Mood For A Day.
