 Topic: 95% collaborator reviews

I have noticed recently that about 95% of reviews shown on the front page are being done by collaborators. I think this must have something to do with only being able to review if you are a member of the forum? Anyway, the quality of the reviews does seem to have increased. There aren't so many short reviews anymore saying things like "this sucks". So, the recent changes seem to be a good idea IMO.

This is probably due to the fact, that nowadays almost 95% of the forum members are collaborators ...

Remember that the fact that a link is now shown for the reviewer does not necessarily mean they are a PR or SC. As long as they are a forum member, there is a link to see all their reviews.

Yes I know. The trouble is that my reviews are usually too short. I must admit that. I'm honest at least.

I was recently (well like two days ago) promoted to collaborator status. I think it's a good thing that only forum members can write reviews. If someone wants to be an active expressive member of this community, they need to join it.
It may not be a good message to say "only forum members can participate in this community". On the contrary it may be a good message to show that this community will support it's members and still allow any other visitors to access reviews, profiles, and etc on this site.
