I have searched this site for some information on the new WHO album but
haven't found any so I figured I would post it as news.

WHO2 will be the first new album by the band since 1982. The only
original members in the band are Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, as
Keith Moon died in 1978 and John Entwistle died in 2002. Entwistle's
place is currently being filled by Pino Palladino and Greg Lake (of
Emerson, Lake, and Palmer), and Zak Starkey has been filling Moon's
place.

I thought it would be an interesting post because Greg Lake is said to be
playing bass. Should be very interesting.

EDIT: I'm almost 100% sure I posted this under "News" I don't know how it
ended up on shows. Sorry about that.

It's interesting to see that the Who is still not included in the archives... And Beatles, Kaleidoscope, Kate Bush, and many other remotely-related acts are here!!!

what d'ya think of that!?!?

(P.S.: I'm not very hopeful about reunion albums in the first place, but Van der graaf's worked well, and if I find mr. Townshend and Daltrey's new effort, I will give it a shot)

(P.S. 2: I'm not back! I just found a little time to go into internet, and ended up here! I have a pile of Can reviews to submit, along with many bands I just found  hail you krautheads!!)
Listen to Turkish psych/prog; you won't regret:
Baris Manco,Erkin Koray,Cem Karaca,Mogollar,3 Hürel,Selda,Edip Akbayram,Fikret Kizilok,Ersen (and Dadaslar) (but stick with the '70's, and 'early 80's!)

Sounds awesome. Hope it's better than Face Dances.

The Who, by the way, are the greatest rock'n'roll band of al time, with The Kinks and Beatles right behind them. Led Zeppelin are in a class of there own.

i agree, the who made some stunning albums,  "tommy" was a very progressive album when it was released, they should be listed here under "proto prog".

I think it's proto-prog too, they have influence's from prog-rock in their music

It's kinda like a bunch of other bands that might try a reunion.  I'd rather they try to put out new songs and fail than to not try at all.  The Who created an astonishing amount of great material so I'd be interested to hear what Pete and Roger could do.
