I love prog music , it is so good it kicks any other genres butt !  do you agree?  i mean, generic classic rock comes close but prog rock is soooo innovative  and has many subgenres.

Progressive rock is the best. Yup! I believe that is why we're here. So why are you listening to the Grateful Dead? What is the Grateful Dead classified as anyway?Space/Country Rock?

I think prog is the only inspirational music around, it has so much and each band is different. Theres so much to listen to aswel e.g. ELP are heavily influenced by classical and jazz....Pink Floyd are just an influence by themselves. IT IS AMAZING

However, the Grateful Dead use to do a half hour of pure space music at every one of their concerts.  At the few GD shows I attended, this was generally nap time.
