The following is taken from Whitewillow.net: New studio albumWe are pleased to announce that we will be entering the studio for the recording of our new album on the 3rd of March. We will be recording and mixing at the legendary Jailhouse Studios in Denmark. Overseeing engineering and mixing is noted producer Tommy Hansen, whose credits include everything from TNT, Helloween and Pagan's Mind to St. Thomas and Saybia and our own labelmates Circus Maximus. It is also worth noting that Tommy Hansen was the keyboardist in the almost mythic Danish prog rock band The Old Man and the Sea. The recording line-up will be the same as our live line-up of the past year or so, including singer Trude Eidtang. Musically we're striving for concise, emotional and orchestral rock songs, while at the same time allowing for some more instrumental stretching out. Needless to say, we feel very excited both by the music and by the prospect of working with Tommy. Updated by Jacob, Feb 2, 2006 |

I'm not an ultimate White Willow fan... but it's a great news anyway
I really enjoy their last work (Storm Season - 2004 --> 4/5) but I never listened to the other albums... |

To D.Noisserger, I really recommend Sacrament then. BebieM, Read this post from my thread and you'll get a fair picture of them. If you want I can send a sample song using yousendit.com http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=19026& amp;PN=1&TPN=4 |

Why can't get just get a new Wobbler CD instead? That is where the real potential lies.

I already got it. The potential as you called it is also in White Willow as they share a band member. ANyway, there is not much to compare as they play quite different music styles. |

Well, this is a great, excellent notice to me, cause I love all the works from WW (specially the first and the last albuns). I'm waiting anxiously the new Anekdoten too... But, talkin' 'bout Wobbler, I didn't liked it very much... For me it's only a derivative band from Anglagard... like Sinkadus. |

I love WW and think they are one of the best new prog bands, but does anyone else agree that the guitar parts and some of the vocals pre Storm Season sound a little flat (as in pitch rather than production). Also, as someone who tries to play very rudimentary drums, there are some drum parts on Ignus Fatuus that sound like Pinocchio falling downstairs. Nevertheless , glad they are recording and look forward to album no 5 |
