I really don't know if it's more prog...but I prefer the Floyd sans Waters albums over Waters' solo effords. For me the greatest album to come out of the "Floyd school" after Animals is "The Division Bell" and that is a David Gilmour product.

Eww, not much of a choice for my tastes. Waters solo stuff just leaves me cold (Although I remember kinda liking Radio KAOS when it came out), while the Gilmour Floyd is just okay, so I guess it's Gilmour Floyd by a little bit.

I remember when Waters came to Brazil and someone asked him "What do you think of Brazil?" (This was on TV) he just looked half dead and mumbled to himself. After that I lost all respect for him.

I always felt that Waters, though talented as a musician, was a bit of a depressed whiner (just listen to The Final Cut and you should see what I mean)
That being said, I just couldn't enjoy his solo works; my favorite member of the band was always Wright

Pink Floyd sans Waters is far better than Waters solo and even late PF with Waters (The Wall and The Final Cut)

IMO one of my favorite albums is The Division Bell. My favorite work of Water's solo is probably Hitch Hiking, but not good enough.
