The Archive has gotten to the point wher it consumes too many hours to search for MP3's for little known bands. The major/grandfather Prog bands are easy; Genesis, KC, Yes, ELP, Rush. Pink Floyd.... What is hard is trying to find the obscure MP3's.

For instance, I like Art Rock, which non-major bands have MP3's on their Bio that are a MUST CHECK OUT! MP3?

Maybe we can suggest some choice tunes from our favorite genres? Maybe direction to band websites that feature some choice full length MP3's, (the short samples don't help much, do they?).

Guy Manning has a free sampler, so does Ten Jinn.

Check out: http://www.guymanning.com/

or

http://www.tenjinn.com/

Check 'em out.... You may OR may not like, but hey, what did it cost?

Great idea Danbo.

Parallel or 90 degrees have a complete sampler on their site, with front and back cover images. Just follow the link to their offcial website from their page on this site. Very diverse music with almost the full spectrum of prog.

Keep the download sites coming Danbo, a cheers and horray for you

I'm relatively new to the internet (it's been 4 years since I last browsed the net, only been back since August) so I don't know many sites.

The best one I encountered so far is this one.

Do you or anybody know any sites where you can download (legaly) full albums at reasonable costs.

I'm always almost unlucky _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Id5ZcnjXSZaSMFMC Id5LM2q2jfqz3YxT

Here's a link via the band's own website to a complete album which is listed in the archives. Look for the bit that says:

Full album available on Mellow Records, or mp3s here.

If you're into Bjorn Lynne, you'll find 25 full-length tracks on his site:

And in case you haven't got them all yet, you'll find 30 full Steve Hackett tracks at the following site. They are mostly live pieces from different eras/albums but a couple of studio rarities too:
