Topic: Claypool Solo Realease Announced... Posted: February 21 2006 at 19:09 |
I,ve been waitig a long time and its finally here!!Les Claypool has announced that he will be releasing a new solo album(wich ussually means that its not "Primus", not that he's the only one on it).It is coming out this Spring.I'm quite sure it will be wonderfull.Anyway, he says he will be touring just about everywhere for this one(I'm Freakin' out ). He has yet to release who is on the album, although i can rest assured whomever is on it they will be just as eclectic as previous line-ups and up to "Claypool" standards. The name has also been left untold.
Oh Yeah, he will also be releasing a novel that he has written that just so happens to be based around a strange drug induced, murderous fishing outing.![](smileys/smiley3.gif) ![](smileys/smiley36.gif)
And also a movie that he has made and Directed that is about the Grateful Dead inspired Jam Band named The Electric Apricot.
Just thought you'de want to know.![](smileys/smiley2.gif)

No, meaning not with Primus.Whether he is with members FROM the frog brigade nobody knows.
All his solo work has different artists on all the albums although people from the Brigade are on other Solo works.

I love Frog Brigade to bits - just recently got into Claypool and everything I've heard has been at least pretty good and most of it excellent. This new project sounds promising.

But isn't Primus just a bunch of Les Claypole solo albums any way?! LOL.
That is awsome! I love Primus! Im a guitarist but Les Claypole does inspire me. He is one of the best rock/funk abssitst around along with Flea from The Chilli Peppers.
