I'll have to go with Mr. Bungle. Disco Volante and California are like in my top 5 albums of all time. Definately Desert Island cd's. I have Mike Patton disease, I have to buy everything he does. Do you know about Peeping Tom? ITs finally coming out this year. Norah Jones is going to be on it, can you believe it?
So anyway, what is your favorite Mike Patton band (past or present)? If you had to choose one, what would it be? Edited by mattuati |

I haven't heard all of those bands, but Fantomas is one of my favourite currently active bands. I think that the word genius is over used on this site, but Mike Patton could just deserve to be described as a genius - if only for 'California' and 'Suspended Animation'.

I saw him with Tomahawk when they opened for Tool on the Lateralus tour. The band was allright, drummer John Stanier was very good, but Patton was terrible. His voice was scratchy, weak and constantly in the wrong key.I was pretty disappointed with him. Poll question:Mr. Bungle for me,but Fantomas is very good too. Edited by TheProgtologist |
