Where’s Eddie Jobson now.......

  Where's Eddie Jobson now and what's he doing?   As a child of the 70s prog world i was knocked out by his contributions to so many great bands and albums. He seemed such a gifted young musician,culminating in his work with UK. I'm still in awe of his contribution to the 'Curved Air' masterpiece 'Air Cut' when he was apparently only 17.I was fortunate enough to catch him in the Zappa band in NYC on halloween night in '76 which was great .  BUT for someone who promised so much he seems to have slowly slipped into prog oblivion! Was he somehow shackled by his prodigious talent and just hard to get along with? Ian Anderson seems to suggest he was pretty strange when reflecting on his time with Tull . Does anyone know what he's into now and are there any other fans of his work out there?

well, Eddie is my all-time favorite keyboardist closely followed by Lyle Mays. I am probably the biggest Eddie's fan here on the PA site: i included his section here in the database.

Well I'm not familiar with all he's done but everything I have heard from Eddie Jobson has been great. He is something of a forgotten player, it'd be great to hear more from him.

Thanks! It is a great album sleeve.  And a great album, Theme Of Secrets.  I will use the avatar again, I think, in a short time. It's the best one I used thus far. The true colours of prog indeed!
