It used to be huge, but I've grown over it mostly, because most dentists are very (natural ) anaesthesists. It's just, my first, or second, wasn't such an anaesthetic guy, and I had him for years and years. So that was a bit of a problem.
But not anymore !

Dental phobics??? You mean afraid of teeth? Not me, but I know some rednecks who must be afraid of teeth because they had all of theirs pulled.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Yea, same with me.
When I was three or four in I had a very complicated cavity on one of my back teeth. There were no anaesthesists in my hometown back then The dentist was a known professor and tried to fix it for two hours, and it was so bad they had to pull it out. All without anaesthesists
That was a very unpleasant experience. It made me clinically phobic for quite a long time
But, it's all better now

I used to be petrified of going to the dentist...so much so I didn't go for 15 years, then guess what, it caught up with me big time!! I won't go into details but familiarity with the procedures (including crowns, removal of impacted wisdom teeth) has overcome my fear. I blame my parents (don't we all!) - my Mum is a very anxious woman and I think she transferred her fear onto me as a child.

I don't have a fear of dentists, other than the fact that they are all disappearing from my neighbourhood, and I'm afraid there won't be any left....

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

That was fifteen years ago in the Russan province
Luckily, modern dentists don't bother me

not so afraid about dentists... just that i do not like the cocaine they inject you: it accelerates the heartbeat while you do nothing: the trip is just slightly bad but bearable!
dentist is a job i would not want to do:
they work in a bad posture, and they smell the bad breath all the time:
it pays, but what a boring job!
