Somehow, I agree. Some prog artists are quite "moving". I did use prog to get my actual Girldfriend. It's a great topic to start a conversation from nothing. "So, what kind of music do you listen?" "Well, I like a very weird kind of music". And then, Some Robert Wyatt. I still can't believe it worked...

I hope not.

However, indidvidual prog artists are. Heather Findlay and Olivia (the new backing vocalist) from Mostly Autumn are the stuff of dreams. Great singers but incredible to look at too.
