Anyone see Greg Lake on Ch. 4 last night, twas about christmas songs and his number one hit.
I know nothing bout ELP but they seem bloody weird. Lake sat in the middle of the desert sourounded by camels and Bedouins?

I think part of Greg Lakes video for that song was shot around Mount Sinai and also around the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.. Perhaps an ELP expert can confirm..

It was in the Sinai desert, moer than that I'd have to check in my ELP bible!

It's not Lake Windermere - it's just Windermere (mere means "lake" anyway). There is only 1 lake in the Lake District called "Lake" and that's Bassenthwaite.

Technically speaking, it would probably be Loch Greg.

Pete Sinfield was on it too.

I never realised Robert Fripp's other half Toyah Willcox covered Greg Lake's tune.  It's a mini-Crimson thing going on.  More King Crimson than ELP I'd say, what with the Peter Sinfield co-writing.
