Friday night, I had the rare pleasure of seeing a Pink Floyd tribute
band so creativly titled "Dark side of the Moon" who perform once a
year in Rochester NY. The had a great collection of songs, the set list
was:
Set One:
- Shine on you Crazy Diamond
- In the Flesh
- One Slip
- Learning to Fly
- Take it Back
- Welcome to the Machine
- Have a Cigar
- Mother
- Hey You
- One of my Turns
- Young Lust
- Another brick in the Wall (Part 2)
- Comfortably Numb
- Run Like hell
Set Two
- Sorrow
- Pigs/Sheep Medley
- Fearless
- One of these days/Echoes Medley
- The Entire Dark side of the Moon Album
Encores:
- Wish You Were Here
- On the Turning Away
It was done VERY nicley. I beleive the highlites were Shine on, Numb, A
Great Gig, and Wish you Were Here. The vocalist for A Great Gig in the
Sky was Amazing, and insanley percise, but they through something else
in there performing a weird harmony with another female singer which
worked out very nice. They sung the last verse of Wish You Were Here 3
times.
The Medley's worked out really nicley. They cut out the super long part of echoes, which was I beleive only used for time sake.
The Guitarist and Drummer were simply amazing, that guitarist I beleive
can do anything, they altered around with Comfortably numb to kinda
show off there greatness, and by the end of it, it looked like the
drummer was about to have a heart attack.
But all over very nice very entertaining and very true to the Floyd. Great show, see it if you can!
