HORIZONTE

Horizonte 1978
Seņales sin edad 1979

A rare item from Argentine, not essential but an interesting listening for completists in symphonic / prog folk genre (in a kind of chamber music style)... a similar vein than the popular Los Javais (for the symphonic touch). This is mainly acoustic with lot of flute, acoustic guitar, piano parts, largely instrumental with a funny, gentle "flavor" of  traditional music from the "Andes" region.

Horizonte Proximo abismo Senales Sin Edad 1979 Mardel-X
Excellent symphonic whose primary influence is probably Los Jaivas. The album is available on a 2-fer CD with their first album which is also very good. Highly recommended for those who want to hear great progressive music with a strong mix of South American folk music.
