At the end of 1999 a new tradition has started on Dutch radio: top2000 of 'all' times. Via the Internet it is possible to vote from some 5000 pre-selected tracks. Every year, the top10 is the traditional: Queen, Deep Purple, Meat Loaf, Eagles. Until now I was always the good PROG stuff. The possible list always contained Genesis stuff, but only from the Collins-period. This year a pre-selection has taken place that has lead to more interesting possibilities.

Maybe we can influence the outcome in a positive way. Go to Http://top2005.radio2.nl/2005/stempagina/

(it's an all-Dutch site, but you clever lot must be able to figure it out)

This is my list:

AC/DC - Whole lotta Rosie (1978)
Beach Boys - Wouldn't it be nice (1966)
Billie Holiday - Strange fruit (1939) *
Bram Vermeulen - De wedstrijd (1991) *
Norah Jones - Don't know why (2002)
Van Morrison - Have I told you lately (1989)
Jacques Brel - Ne me quitte pas (1965)
Genesis - The musical box (1977) *
Genesis - The knife (1970) *
Genesis - Firth of fifth (1973) *
