The only album I have out of these is octavarium so I will opt to not vote. I'm
not so big on prog metal but I think I'm getting more and more into it.

In the freedom of music
But glittering prizes
And endless Compromises
Shatter the illusion

I've heard all four of the options and I have to go for Octavarium, though Ghost Reveries isn't far behind it.

from this list its easily between Ghost Reveries and Octavarium but if you put Akerfeldt,Lopez,Mendez, lindgren, and Wiberg vs Portnoy,Petrucci,Rudess,Myung, and Labrie im sorry but Dream Theater will always win. btw am i the only one that hated Ghost Reveries? i dont know what it is i just cant get into it. &nb sp; Blackwater Park,Still Life and Morningrise now thats true Opeth.

Of the choices I have to go with Ghost Reveries with Second Life Syndrome quite close. Also in need of mention is Sieges Even's The Art Of Navigating By The Stars, definitely the most pleasant surprise of the year.

Room V
Octavarium is alright, but I didn't like it as much.
Ghost Reveries is good, but I'm not a huge Opeth fan.
Don't have the Riverside album yet.

Octavarium is the best overall album, the more I listen to it, the more I realize just how balanced of an album that it is. It dosen't particularly lack or over use any elements. Ghost Reveries is great, but i think it lacks some of my favorite electric melodies that i expect from Opeth. Room V is great musically, but it balnds out after awhile. I don't consider Riverside's album to be quite to the level of the others.

Beyond Twilight - Section X, kicks all others in terms of melody, songwriting and replayability.
Out of the list - Opeth.
